"Why do I feel called to create but struggle to build a sustainable career?"

"I want to build a creative career that is successful and doesn't compromise my faith."

Absolutely. Your art business, your creative process and your personal life, all need to glorify God with your heart, mind and soul. This summit addresses those concerns from a holistic, biblical framework.

"I don't know where to start to build my art business. I have the talent but need help with the business side of art!"

Our Catalyst Mentorship Program (which is sponsoring this summit) is the one stop shop for helping artists and creative professionals with the business side of art (all genres of art: painting, music, film, dance, writing, etc.). Joel & Michelle are the instructors for the program and your hosts and guides for the summit. They'll be bringing the go-to principles and strategies they teach to this Summit- you will benefit greatly from their over 30 years of artist mentoring!

"How does my faith interact with my creative business?"

That's a big question and we've got you covered- God is central to all that an artist of faith does and our Catalyst Mentorship Program revolves around putting God first in our careers, our creativity and our personal lives. Everything we teach is gospel centered and scripturally based.

"I'm not sure this summit is for me, who is it for?"

This summit is for ALL visual & performing artists, filmmakers, musicians, photographers, Illustrators, video game designers, writers, media and creative professionals. Whatever your art, our principles will help you transform your career in a new way and empower you to get to the next level.

Your Summit Hosts Joel & Michelle Pelsue.

Why This Summit Is Different

This isn't another marketing conference.

It isn't another business seminar.

It isn't another theology class.

It's where biblical truth meets practical strategy.

Because Christian artists need both.

You don't have to choose between honoring God and growing your creative career.

You can pursue excellence without compromising your faith.

You can build a sustainable creative business without losing your soul.

And you can become the artist God created you to be.

Here's what other artists and creative professionals have to say:

“The Catalyst Program for artists has literally changed my life. The way I understood it before beginning it, the course was created as a way to help artists get to the next level as business people – but I have to say, I don’t think I had a clue as to how useful, important and valuable the course would be for me in particular. I started with a vague idea that I needed to get my “ducks in a row” – but Michelle Pelsue is an extraordinary teacher and resource whose experience, knowledge and wisdom I did not fully comprehend until I was immersed in this program. Her commitment to the material and to helping each participant find their connections to it was amazing.

In the time that I have been in this course, I have explored many aspects of my artistic career that previously felt overwhelming and out of reach – but Michelle’s systematic and thorough format of teaching, exploration (and homework!), brought the material into bite sized chunks that felt natural and doable – even while there were challenges. With Michelle’s mentorship and also the friendships with colleagues in the Catalyst group – I have been able to get myself ready for an entirely new chapter of my career. A few months into the program, I was starting to feel prepared, more confident about what I was putting out in the world and I knew my mission and goals. My artist friends began to ask me, “how do I get what you are getting from your artists’ group?” They noticed the change in my professionalism. And then when changes started happening speeding up my career – I found I was ready for them! I had a marketing plan, a better understanding of the value of my art and I could speak to my artistic vision clearly. I knew what I wanted and I had a website to prove it. None of this would have happened without this course.

As an added note – being able to have a spiritual component to this group and course is something that cannot be quantified. Arts and Entertainment Ministries already offers a wealth of blessing, community and ministry for artists of all kinds, but to get into this level of depth with someone who can pastor you in your career as a creative…. that’s incredibly rare to find and has been the utmost value for me as I move forward boldly, knowing that I am called to this life as an artist.”

-Liberty Worth, Fine Artist & Textile Designer

"Michelle pairs her insight, creativity and compassion in how she helps artists develop in their careers. One of the most impactful parts of Catalyst for me was the 1:1 coaching session where Michelle quickly diagnosed my weak points in how I marketed myself as an artist and gave deeply insightful strategies for how I can mobilize my audience as supporters for my work.

I can tell that Michelle deeply wants Christian artists to succeed; it’s a conviction for her. It’s in her staying at the end of each session to answer all of our questions, being fully attentive to the needs of the cohort, praying for us and offering encouragement. In fact, the more I’ve engaged with her content, the more HOPE I have gained than ever before to press forward and trust God’s sovereignty in my life and career. I’m grateful to Michelle for her part in that process, and I am ready for the next stage of my career thanks to what I’ve learned in Catalyst."

-Amri Rigby, Writer/Director

“Michelle is The "catalyst" at Arts & Entertainment Ministries. She is helping me optimize my assets and audience and is challenging me toward new ways to grow my art business. It needed an energetic shove into the next decade. She is a helpful encourager who graciously answers my questions. AND best of all she prays for me! Thank you, Michelle, for inspiring me and getting me focused!”

 - Grace Carol Bomer, Painter

Being a part of the catalyst program was one of the best decisions I have made. Michelle has provide me a great wealth of knowledge of the important steps to have a successful art business. I love that she invites the Lord into each class by praying before and after each class. Michelle is available for questions during class and even after class when needed. Michelle has given me many tools that I have implemented and given me more traction as an Entrepreneur and one of the best parts of the course is it's affordable with the option of a payment plan. I recommend Catalyst to every artist that wants to take their business to another level.”

-Bolanle Awosika, Painter

"I have passed up the many Business of Art coaches online, each promising (by their special knowledge, for a hefty fee!) to make me a $100k/year art-selling juggernaut. Until I saw a Facebook post from Arts and Entertainment Ministries that had a significant difference. AEM begins in scripture and with prayer to assist artists through the Catalyst Program to be who they were always meant to be. After some background searching, and with a realistic cost that I could handle, I decided to trust that there would truly be a difference. I am so glad I did! Michelle led our cohort on a personal search and discovery through the weeks of the course, and we gained real confidence in our abilities. In this step-by-step program – which is by no means easy fluff – I have assembled good tools that expand my art-making into a business practice that will be both personally fulfilling and financially successful. Firm, yet non-judgmental, I know Michelle is committed to seeing each participant become the best creative that God intended them to be."

-Daniel Hendricksen, Painter

As a business adverse artist, Catalyst has gotten me excited about tackling the business side of my creative work! The sessions have been simple, concise, effective, and crucial as I prepare the business foundations for a new film project in a new stage of my life. Michelle offers an approach that not only instructs but shepherds the soul. She cares about each individual, and her experience and connections are very valuable to any artist who wants to get to the next level in their career.

 - Jaime Gonzalez, Filmmaker

“Michelle is by far the best facilitator that I have worked with for self development and also for my business needs. She is a powerhouse with a unique ability to love you as she hands you a superb level of organization and transparency. She has mastered the ability to create a full proof lesson plan equipped with articles, links and modules. Michelle’s amazing coaching style is gripping and admirable as she navigates you through the best practices of your career and business.”

-Andrea Walker-Williamson, Author & Creative Entrepreneur

“Joel and Michelle's ministry to the arts and entertainment industry establishes them as the consummate go-to mentors, coaches and informal pastors with the heart of a father and mother, to teach , train, and inspire artists of faith.”

-Kevyn Bashore, Screenwriter & Filmmaker

“Michelle Pelsue is the real deal. Focused, persistent, and detailed, she cut through my fears and inertia like a laser knife, putting me on a clear path to growth and success. She untangled my random ball of goals, weaving them into an intelligible logical plan with a purpose. If you’re questioning whether or not creative catalyst is for you, don’t. Just say yes.”

-Cindi Zech Rhodes, Curator

"Taking AEM’s Catalyst Program should be on the list every Christian artist wanting to start a new creative business or getting an old and tired one revitalized. The course is methodically organized, clearly presented and practical. Be aware, though, it’s intensive, but you, and your approach to your work and business will benefit greatly. "

-Steven Holloway, Filmmaker

“Michelle Pelsue’s Catalyst Program has been the best class I have taken on the business side of being a creative entrepreneur. Her knowledge about marketing, website building and management, social media, and utilizing God-given gifts and talents is vast and she is a very generous and gifted communicator. I highly recommend Calatyst for all who want to take their creative endeavors to the next level.”

-Lori Ann Fuller Piscioneri, Vocalist & Founder of Voice AcademyLA

Joel and Michelle are a rare treasure who are leading the charge on serving the needs of creative Christians everywhere. I really can’t say enough good things about them.

The organization they have built is the “go to” resource for anyone of faith looking to grow their creative career or business. The Catalyst Course they offer is a comprehensive training and education that will help you fill in the missing gaps that you may not be aware that you have.

Michelle does an excellent job of leading the course with a teacher's heart. She is committed to helping you succeed by patiently walking you through the process every step of the way. Her and Joel have been doing this for a long time and have the expertise to help you overcome almost any challenge you could be facing as an artist. Taking their course is one of the best decisions that I ever made!”

-Dylan Wheeler, Painter

“Catalyst is a professional development course for artists and is coached by Michelle Pelsue. It’s a place for artists of all types to effectively hone tools to raise public exposure to further their various careers. What makes this class stand out is Michelle’s advanced technical expertise in social media, as well as other professional practices, along with her sincere attention to the spiritual well being of artists. Michelle is passionate for our success and she challenges us to reach further than we knew we needed to go! Furthermore, as a community we support each other to follow through with social media opportunities, audience registries, and assorted disciplines necessary for managing our careers. Michelle is sophisticated as well as patient and accepting. Her TLC sets the tone for the course.”
